Revision Desert Locust Goggles Review

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewOver the years I have use many goggles and have never found a pair that was suitable for all my needs. Some were either too focused on style and others just had weird shapes. I have use Oakley, Bolle, Spy and many others. What I was looking for was one pair that was not painted with crazy colors that could be used for anything from skiing
to dirt bike riding and they had to have interchangeable lenses so I could swamp them out for all weather conditions.

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewRevision Desert Locust Goggles So in other words I wanted one pair that I would take in my kit that would work for all occasions that why I started to look at military style goggles every time I seen the military with goggles they all had the same pair of goggles weather it was winter or summer and this was just what I was in the market for.

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewOnce I received these from Revision I was very excited because they had it all interchangeable lenses plain look no crazy colors and had a great pouch that could be attached to my MOLLE or Pal gear on my packs. After putting them to the test over the past two weeks I have found them to be perfect for my needs and the fact that the lenses are ballistic and can withstand a shotgun blast from 16 feet away I was confident that no matter what hit them it was staying out.

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewThe goggles have two vents at the top of the frame which funnel filtered air into a channel that runs the full circumference of the goggles forcing air around to keep the goggles clear and that where one of my favorite things about these goggles comes in . they have a unreal ability to keep them fog free I have even worn them in the house with the heat on and still they did not fog up which I found to be remarkable! Now I have not tested these in very cold weather which I will this winter and let you know how they held up but if their performance up to now is any indication they will pass with flying colors!

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewTo change the lenses out is a very easy processes all you need to do is unclip the two side clips that hold the strap on and grab the frame and pull on the bottom and top and the lens comes out with no trouble and these are the easiest to change of all the goggles I have used. The goggles also have a spot for a prescription insert so if you have glasses you can get the insert for your lenses.

Revision Desert Locust Goggles ReviewIf you're in the market for a pair of goggles that can do it all and have the durability that will last many years I would check out Revision they make some of the best eye protection products I have ever used and there prices are not crazy at all you get very high quality for a price that comes in at far lower than goggles like Oakley.
